ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST

The Financial Accounting Specialist will be responsible for recording, analyzing, and reporting the company's financial information, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and legal regulations under the regulatory frameworks of the United Kingdom and Spain. This role will also involve preparing annual financial statements, weekly and monthly reports, managing budgets, and providing key data to support financial decision-making.The ideal candidate possesses analytical skills, a solid operational and technical accounting background, and works proactively to drive results. This person is a self-starter, flexible, has a high level of integrity, and is action and goal-oriented in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and collaborative environment.Qualifications:At least 3 years of accounting and tax experience in a similar position in the Fintech or banking sector.Knowledge or experience with different payment methods (card program, international payments, etc.)Accurate, structured, and systematic approach to work.Analytical mindset with the ability to think independently.Good communication and intrapersonal skills.Good level of English B2 or C1 (We conduct tests and interviews in English)Good MS Office skills, especially Excel.Knowledge of Spanish and British PGC.Knowledge of NIC NIIF y IFRS is a plusEducation: Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, business or similar.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for the accuracy of accounting books.Responsible for compliance with local fiscal and accounting rules.Controls and ensures the correct implementation of the company administrative policy.Provides timely and accurate accounting information to the management.Provides support in reports, files received, etc.Controls accuracy and adequacy of fiscal books (VAT, fixed assets) & files (VAT returns income Tax…)Delivers bridge between local accounts & IFRS accounts.Ensure high quality of accounting data and perform quality initiatives.What's On Offer·       Career opportunities and professional development.·       Opportunity to work in an international environment.·       International training program.·       Position based in Madrid·       Permanent positionPLEASE ABSTAIN FROM CANDIDATES WHO DO NOT MEET THE PROFILE.If, after reviewing the conditions and browsing our website, you believe your profile aligns with what we are looking for, please send your CV to Enrique.becerra@euroexchange.com with the subject line "Financial Operations analyst" and a cover letter included in the body of the email.
