We’re headquartered in Palma, Mallorca and employ around 3,500 people worldwide.JOB DESCRIPTION:Area Contracting Manager will be responsible for coordinating a team of Contracting managers, ensuring the accomplishment and follow up of the regional targets.Main accountabilities:Responsible of leading and developing the team of Contracting Managers to help them reach the targets across key business objectivesAssisting and coaching Contacting Managers and Area Yield Managers to develop their individual strategies to assist them to grow their skills, abilities, and competencies.Partner closely with the Regional Manager, Area Yield Manager, G&DS on efficient planning and execution of strategic plans,Having a clear understanding of the initiatives and targets by developing clear guidance to drive and effectively implement our key strategic partnership programsParticipate and attend key hotelier meetings that require Area leadership representation to negotiate together with the Contracting Manager.Understand the systems and the processes to guide the team in the daily work.Help to solve any operational issues, competitiveness problems or any other tool related issues, to reach goals.Lead interdepartmental relationships across the business.Experiences:Previous experience in commercial roles with direct contact with clientsPrevious experience in contracting and negotiation with customersDemonstrated experience in managing and developing teams, including performance management and coaching.Strong understanding of the hotel industry, distribution channels, and revenue management principles.Qualifications: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, Tourism Management or similar Proficient level of English and any additional language would be a plusCapabilities:Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute regional strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives, driving growth and profitability.Team Development and Coaching: Build high-performing teams, foster a collaborative culture, and provide mentorship and coaching to develop talent.Relationship Management and Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with hotel partners, internal stakeholders, and industry partners.Commercial Acumen and Business Performance: Demonstrate a deep understanding of the market, drive revenue growth, and optimize profitability through effective negotiation and deal-making.Data-driven decision-making: Utilize data and analytics to inform strategic decisions, measure performance, and identify opportunities for improvement.Change Management and Adaptability: Navigate a dynamic market environment, drive organizational change, and foster a culture of innovation.Commercial Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient and effective commercial operations, optimize processes and leverage technology to improve productivity.You will have the opportunity to work for a company that is going through significant change in becoming the world´s leading travel services provider.
