This is a unique opportunity for a Backend Engineer who is passionate about games and eager to contribute to a game designed to captivate players for years.
You’ll work closely with a team of experienced professionals to architect long-term technical solutions, integrate with third-party backend systems, and ensure the smooth operation of game functionalities like matchmaking and replay systems.
Key Responsibilities.
Backend Development.
Create and maintain scalable backend services supporting key game functionalities.
Architecture Design.
Collaborate with the team to design and implement long-term technical solutions that align with frequent release schedules.
Integration.
Integrate third-party backend solutions with custom systems to enhance game performance.
Code Lifecycle Management.
Own the entire lifecycle of your code, from development through to deployment.
Testing.
Proactively write automated tests, including unit and integration tests, to ensure code reliability and support regression testing strategies.
What We’re Looking For.
Experience.
Strong experience with object-oriented programming languages and microservice architecture.
Technical Skills.
Proficiency in AWS, Docker, EKS/ECS, Git, SQL/NoSQL, and RESTful services.
Proactive Mindset.
A proactive approach to testing and a passion for working in the games industry.
Self-Motivation.
The ability to work independently, mentor others, and maintain a strong work ethic.
Nice to Have.
Passion for MOBAs.
A keen interest in Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) games.
Years of experience and salary levels are shown purely as a guide.
