To excel in this role, it is crucial to have demonstrable technical expertise specifically in Ductile Iron (DI) pipes or other relevant materials such as Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP), High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), or Oriented Polyvinyl Chloride (O-PVC) pipes, with a focus on projects related to water, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.Key Responsibilities:Sales Strategy & Execution: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base in the infrastructure, water, and industrial sectors.Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with key decision-makers in construction firms, water utilities, government bodies, and industrial clients.Market Insights: Provide management with valuable feedback on market conditions, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities.Product Expertise: Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of our product offerings, showcasing their applications and advantages to clients.Collaboration: Work alongside our technical and marketing teams to deliver precise product information and tailored solutions to customers.Negotiation & Compliance: Negotiate pricing and contract terms with clients, ensuring profitability and adherence to company policies.Customer Engagement: Drive customer retention and engagement initiatives to enhance client satisfaction.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.Deep technical knowledge of GRP, HDPE, OPVC, and DI pipes.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical abilities to interpret market trends and dynamics.Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and industry events.Core Competencies:Sales Acumen: Proven ability to generate leads, negotiate contracts, and close high-value deals.Relationship Building: Expertise in fostering long-term partnerships with key industry clients.Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of pipe products and their applications.Goal Orientation: Commitment to achieving sales targets and maximizing profitability.Market Awareness: Insightful understanding of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and growth opportunities.Are You Ready to Make an Impact?
