BUSINESS PROTECTION SPECIALIST

Your day to day.
The Incident Responder acts as a first point of contact for security incidents, vulnerabilities and anomalies following the process of detecting, investigating, and resolving security incidents in a timely and effective manner.
The Incident Responder works an on-call schedule.
With these activities you will have a great impact on our business.
•    Responsible for responding to security incidents and taking appropriate action to contain and mitigate the impact of the incident.
Use various tools and techniques to investigate the incident and gather evidence to determine the root cause.
•    Responsible for managing security incidents from detection to resolution.
Work closely with other teams to identify, contain, and remediate security incidents as quickly as possible.
•    The CSIRT is responsible for identifying and managing vulnerabilities in our systems.
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and work with other teams to ensure vulnerabilities are remediated in a timely manner.
•    Collaboration.
Work closely with other IT and security teams to coordinate incident response efforts and improve overall security posture.
•    Reporting.
Prepare detailed incident reports and provide regular updates to management on the status of ongoing incidents.
•    Continuous Improvement.
Participate in post-incident reviews and contribute to the development of incident response plans and procedures.

Technical skills.
•    Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
•    Understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and the Cyber Kill Chain •    Windows servers and Linux fundamentals  •    Network Security - understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS (Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems) Analytical skills.
•    Strong analytical, functional, and technical communication skills, coordination capability, structured and organized  •    Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple incidents simultaneously •    Malware Analysis.
Ability to analyze and mitigate malware threats Soft skills.
•    Communication.
Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively •    Adaptability.
Being able to quickly adapt to new threats and changing environments •    Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure  •    Ability to work individually or as a member of a team  •    Excellent English written and verbal skills  •    Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field   Sounds like the perfect job?
