BUYER (INDIRECT MATERIALS & SERVICES)

At G + D, leaders in Smartcards and Secure Payment elements, we are looking for a Purchaser to join our company.Your Responsibilities and day-to-day:Assist the Purchasing team with communication across suppliers and internal departments.Engage with new suppliers, request samples, and maintain relationships.Negotiate rates and terms for purchases, both new and existing.Analyze supplier proposals, RFPs, and procurement data; manage Purchase Orders.Maintain and update price lists and supplier records.Support international awards and draft/refine procurement processes.Collaborate with other departments to drive area modernization.Your Skills:Bachelor's Degree in Business or related discipline or equivalent work experienceExperience in a Purchasing Team, ideally in a production companyGreater than 3 years of work experience in an international environment.Familiar with subcontracting and international supplier managementMultidisciplinary approach and have experience in indirect procurement.Knowledge in developing & negotiating local contractual or SLA terms with vendorsMS Office proficient, knowledge in SAPFluent English and SpanishProactive thinker with excellent interpersonal, communication and facilitation skillsTeam player with proven ability to successfully manage projects and resolve conflictsProfit and internal customer service orientedWhat’s great about working with us:Culture and Diversity: Join a people oriented environment with different nationalities and a great team spirit, flat hierarchies (everyone speaks to everyone).
