International ecommerce company in constant expansion is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Commercial Officer to lead the retail eCommerce division. This role will be pivotal in driving sales growth, optimizing pricing strategies, and managing vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in eCommerce sales, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical retail landscape.Reporting to the CEO. In charge of ensuring profitability through vendor terms negotiation, value-added services and the typical ecommerce levers (pricing, …)Leadership and Team Management:Lead and mentor a diverse team of 25 professionals across various functions including sales vendor management, purchasing and inventory management.Set clear performance objectives and conduct regular evaluations to ensure team members meet their goals.Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture that encourages innovation and accountability.Sales Strategy Development:Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth in the eCommerce pharmacy sector.Analyze market trends and customer insights to identify opportunities for new products and services.Pricing and Inventory Management:Master eCommerce pricing strategies to maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market. Oversee inventory purchasing and management to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize excess inventory.Collaborate with supply chain teams to enhance product availability, efficiencies and reduce costs.Vendor Negotiation and Relationship Management:Negotiate favorable terms and marketing services with vendors to ensure cost-effective purchasing and reliable product supply.Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to enhance partnership opportunities and value-added services.Customer Experience Optimization:Work closely with marketing and customer service teams to enhance the online shopping experience and increase customer loyalty.Implement feedback mechanisms to continuously improve service delivery and product offerings.Performance Analysis and Reporting:Utilize data analytics to monitor sales performance, identify trends, and make informed business decisions.Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, outlining achievements, challenges, and strategic recommendations.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.7+ years of experience in sales leadership within the eCommerce industry, preferably in the pharmacy or parapharmacy sector.Proven experience managing and developing high-performing teams.Strong understanding of eCommerce pricing, vendor management, inventory purchasing, and management practices.Excellent negotiation skills and a track record of successful vendor relationship management.Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.Location: Albacete
