COMMUNICATION INTERN

Opdenergy is a growing independent renewable energy producer (IPP) with presence in Europe, United States and Latin America with more than 19 years’ experience. The company develops, builds, finances, manages and operates high quality renewable energy projects in several countries, with a portfolio of 2,6 GW (1,3 operational and + 1,3 ready to build / under construction) assets in operations and construction, whole portfolio under development sums up to over 18 GWWe are looking for a highly motivated and creative Communication Intern to support our internal and external communication efforts. The intern will work closely with the team to help with content creation, help to manage social media, content curation, work alonside the media agencies and contribute to communication projects to enhance the company's image and engagement. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in corporate communications and develop skills in a fast-paced, professional environment.Key Responsibilities:Content Creation: assist in the creation of internal newsletters, emails, infopills and other materials to communicate updates and news to employees.Social Media Management: help to support the management of social media platforms by creating content, scheduling posts, and monitoring engagement.Content Crafting: edit and put in place deliverables according with the brand style and communication tones both internal and externally.Branding: help maintain brand consistency across all communications and ensure messages align with the company's voice and values.Research and Analysis: conduct research on communication trends, peers' initiatives, industry news and best practices to support content strategies.Administrative Support: assist with various administrative tasks as needed to support the communication team and the media agencies.Qualifications:Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation tools.A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.Preferred Skills:Basic knowledge of graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite).Experience with content management systems and/or social media management tools.Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit.What do we offer?A year long paid internship (6 months + 6 months)23 days vacation + local vacationsHybrid model with 2 flexible days a week working from homeFree snacks and well equipped facilitiesPractical experience in various aspects of corporate communications, including content development, social media strategy and brand management.We're an equal opportunity employer.
