Role objective.
As a member of ADP’s Global Integration Center, the Global Solution Designer (GSD) is responsible globally for designing the essential components of ADP Connection interface.
The GSD sets the technical design, in alignment with the client expectations, in accordance with ADP’s capabilities and guides clients through decisions across the various countries and solutions being implemented.
This design along with GSD collaboration serves as the roadmap for each in country implementation team to ensure consistent, efficient, and high-quality delivery.
As the technical expert, the CSD provides strategic guidance including the pros/cons of various configurations aimed at a service able and maintainable solution for all parties involved.

Maintain client-focused design mind-set Employ highly developed consultative skills interacting with client at all levels of the organization Minimize risk and total cost of ownership by advocating standard solutions based on ADP’s best practices to maximize client value Project confidence in ADP’s solutions and services whilst setting appropriate client expectations Act as a mentor and actively support fellow team members in an effort to develop their respective skills Assist in onboarding new team members Prioritize and make decisions based on information and input in a timely manner Work collaboratively with other departments and Provider impacting project to ensure alignment, drive quality and client satisfaction via projects that are on time and within budget Demonstrate proactive participation in Implementation forums, contribute and participate in knowledge sharing and team development sessions.
Participates in performance management and professional development activities by providing immediate feedback to project team members/leaders where appropriate Product & Process Possess the superior level of ADP Connection technology knowledge and apply the necessary competencies to deliver the maximum value to ADP’s clients Maintain up to date knowledge on the Technical platform, templates, tools & processes to guide best practice solution design Provide feedback on the Technical platform, templates, tools, & processes based on client interactions Serve as client advocate through educating others on solution gaps Embrace new enhancements on the Technical platform, participate in the definition of the implementation strategy Aid in the requirements specification and design of changes to the Technical platform, templates, tools & processes Project Activities Support implementation project team with design and best practice advice in implementation workshops when required.
Act as owner of design and monitor local design decisions for impact on global solution and overall efficacy of solution; redirect and/or re-solution as needed to meet evolving project needs Collaborate with project team to review status and discuss issues, risks, resolutions, possible mitigation plans and workarounds as needed to keep project on target.
Where required, participate to meetings to achieve these outcomes To ensure the correctness of definition of the specific rules needed for data transformation To develop and implement the mapping and the rules defined To advise on the technical feasibility To ensure compliance between mapping development and mapping specification To act as a first support level to qualify issues and resolve them To fix the technical issues encountered during the testing phases To ensure readiness of the production environment and file transfers for the deployment To support the client after the deployment up to two months.
Proactively inform pertinent leaders (e.
., Project Manager, GIC ADPC Leadership,) of any potential client escalations, scope variations, task slippages and risks that may arise during the program Provide consulting and quality assurance to the Integration Project Manager responsible for end-to-end integration testing and the go-live cutover approach, to ensure that global decisions are applied and adapted correctly to the local project To act sporadically as a sales support agent to advise on the fit of ADPC solution to client needs at the selling process stage.

Qualifications.
Education and Certifications.
Degree or Equivalent in Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree -> Required; Graduate Degree -> Preferred PMI-PMP -> Preferred Lean Six Sigma experience or certification -> Preferred Design Thinking Certification -> Preferred Global Payroll Certification -> Preferred Workday, Oracle, or SAP Integration Certification -> Preferred Experience/Skills.
Experience in implementing or serving Payroll/HR related projects Fluency in English (oral and written); Spanish, German or French is added value Technical skills in Xml, Perl, SQL… Ability to adopt a methodical and rational approach in analysing, developing and carrying out actions Proven track record analyzing and designing solutions Communications skills written and verbal, able to drive change in uncertain circumstances Superior prioritization, analytical, interpersonal and follow-up skills Demonstrated ability to manage client interactions Possesses configuration knowledge and solid functional/blueprinting and implementation methodology/knowledge for a wide variety of ADP client types and across multiple regions.
Ability to work in a team environment or independently depending upon task Expert in Microsoft Office Tools (SharePoint, Word, Excel, etc.) Understanding of International culture and ability to work in a multinational environment Comfortable on video presenting to various audiences.
