The Team.
The Marketing Analytics and Insight team is part of the marketing operation, and works in close partnership with cross functional teams including the broader go-to-market organization, marketing and sales organizations.
As the engine and oil of our marketing machine, driving efficiency, optimization and smooth operations.
The Position.
As our new Data Engineer and Marketing Analytics Manager , you will be responsible for leading Celonis' marketing analytics strategy, ensuring data integrity, enabling advanced marketing measurement frameworks, and applying predictive analytics to drive performance optimization.
We are looking for passionate professionals who have expertise across; Data Engineering & ETL .
Ensuring seamless data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from various marketing platforms into analytics systems.
Advanced Analytics & Predictive Modeling .
Leveraging machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and attribution analysis to forecast trends and optimize budget allocations.
BI & Dashboarding .
Developing real-time, interactive marketing performance dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA) & Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM).
Designing frameworks to assess campaign impact across channels (paid, organic, email, social, events, etc.).
Data Governance & Integration .
Managing data pipelines and ensuring consistency across CRM, marketing automation, and analytics platforms.
The Work You’ll Do.
Data Engineering & Governance Partner with data engineers to build automated data pipelines that aggregate marketing data from sources like Google Ads, LinkedIn, Salesforce, Marketo, and HubSpot.
Ensure data integrity, de-duplication, and accuracy in marketing datasets through validation processes.
Work with IT and BI teams to enhance data warehouse structures for more efficient reporting.
Advanced Analytics & Predictive Modeling Develop predictive models (e.
., lead scoring, churn prediction, customer lifetime value modeling) using Python, R, or SQL.
Implement Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA) and Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) to measure channel effectiveness and optimize marketing spend.
Conduct A/B testing and experimental designs to assess campaign effectiveness.
Performance Reporting & Dashboards Design and maintain self-service dashboards in Power BI, Looker, or Tableau to provide actionable insights to marketing leaders.
Automate marketing performance reports for C-suite executives to track pipeline impact, CAC, and funnel efficiency.
Create real-time dashboards to monitor lead flow, campaign effectiveness, and conversion trends.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategic Insights Partner with Sales Operations & Revenue teams to align marketing analytics with pipeline generation (pipegen) goals.
Work closely with demand generation to evaluate campaign ROI, budget allocation, and channel performance.
Collaborate with Finance teams to assess customer acquisition cost (CAC), ROI, and revenue contribution.
Tools & Technologies Management Oversee the integration and usage of marketing analytics tools, including Google Analytics, Salesforce, Marketo, Power BI, and HubSpot.
Drive adoption of advanced analytics solutions within the marketing team by providing training and best practices.
Leadership & Mentorship Lead and mentor a team of marketing analysts, providing strategic direction and technical guidance.
Foster a culture of experimentation and data-driven decision-making within the marketing team.
What You'll Bring.
Experience.
5+ years as a Data Engineer, Data Architect, or similar role.
Tech Stack.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and ETL tools (e.
., dbt, Apache Airflow, Fivetran).
Cloud Platforms.
Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure for data engineering solutions.
Database & Warehousing.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar.
Data Processing.
Experience with batch and streaming data processing frameworks (e.
., Spark, Kafka).
Marketing & Sales Data.
Understanding of CRM, marketing automation, and web analytics data (e.
., Salesforce, Marketo, Google Analytics).
Data Governance.
Knowledge of data security, compliance, and best practices.
Analytical Mindset.
