DATA GOVERNANCE SPECIALIST

A Snapshot of Your Day As a Data Governance Specialist, you are part of our growing Data & Artificial Intelligence team within our Digital Core function, where we work together on supporting the wider needs and demands from the business, transforming the way we think of data and embedding data management in our key deliveries across all areas of the energy industry.
In this fast-paced environment, you will assist your team in the formation and execution of data governance framework, policy, standards.
You will assist in the implementation of an enterprise data governance program, the enablement and operationalization of our data governance roles and the materialization of new ways of working that truly bring data governance alive at Siemens Energy.
How You’ll Make an Impact Communicate data governance concepts to support training and enable data management roles.
Create and refine policies, procedures, and guidelines for data governance.
Design and execute data maturity models, supporting their embedding and monitoring.
Plan and conduct workshops with stakeholders to endorse data governance artifacts.
Define and measure data governance KPIs, driving adoption and reporting.
Collaborate with digital core business partners to harmonize data governance roles and functions.
What You Bring - Your Skills and Capabilities University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in Data Management within a large organization, preferably in the energy sector.
Expertise in designing and implementing Data Governance, with knowledge of related data management practices.
Strong facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to present confidently.
Familiarity with cloud and data management trends, including methodologies and tools.
Proven experience in large data governance programs and understanding of business process management.
