What you’ll do Very good knowledge of.
Object Oriented Programming Design patterns (Basic GoF) Microservices architecture SOA – Service Oriented Architecture SOLID principals Threading Collections Unit testing using JUNIT/TestNG Relational Database Basic concepts, Oracle and MYSQL SQL BDD  Test Automation Frameworks.
Cucumber, Selenium, Rest Assured API testing  Postman, Curl No SQL Database.
Mongo, couchbase Kafka Spring boot Java 11+ Javascript GITHUB Actions Jenkins Maven Git/Gitlab/bitbucket and branching strategies Kubernetes Docker containers Splunk, Grafana  Linux and shell scripting REST APIs AWS/GCP  JSON Swagger, YAML Who you are Design.
•Participate and own designs of one or more modules in microservices architecture.
•Design the agreed requirement adhering to the project architecture and design standards.
•Document design and solution in high level or low-level design documentations as per project standards.
•Design and implement Microservices-based solutions, ensuring modularity, scalability, and resilience.
•Define API contracts and communication protocols between Microservices.
•Expertise in designing SOAP, REST APIs and TMF APIs is a must.
•Experience in designing TMF APIs in microservices architecture using the design patterns is a required skill.
Develop.
•Develop and maintain Java/SpringBoot applications.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions.
•Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that meets industry standards and best practices.
Testing.
•Develop and execute test plans and test cases for Java applications.
•Perform BDD testing using Cucumber to ensure the software meets business requirements.
•Conduct API testing to validate the functionality, performance, and security of web services.
•Implement and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium, Rest Assured, and Cucumber.
•Write and execute automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of the software.
•Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability and quality.
•Identify, document, and track defects and issues, and work with the development team to resolve them.
Investigation & Problem Solving.
•Participate in deciding and recommending the technologies and tools that best fit the business requirements.
•Research and investigate to find out proper solution for technical problems.
•Ability to compare and assess technical solutions & tools/products.
•Take personal ownership for issue resolution with good negotiating and problem-solving skills.
Reporting.
•On time reporting and escalation of projects problems.
•Clear and accurate reporting.
Coaching & Technical guidance.
•Own one or more modules of the project(s) under development and testing.
•Responsible for providing technical guidance, mentoring, and coaching for the junior team members.
•Review code of juniors’ team members and recommends necessary rework.
Quality.
•Implement the agreed requirement with high level of quality.
•Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on test coverage and quality.
•Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing efforts.
Technical Estimate.
•Should be familiar with the requirements estimation process and be able to provide estimates for self and team’s task.

•Deliver tasks on time and within project plan with the agreed quality standards.
•Flexible to adapt with unplanned changes in timelines, business requirements, quality standard or any other activity that might threat the overall project delivery.
