Our mission is to drive the transition towards a more sustainable world by investing in and managing sustainable infrastructure, while delivering long-term value to our investors and stakeholders.Our current portfolio includes 40 renewable energy assets with a capacity of 2,048 MW, 343 MW of efficient natural gas-fired power, 1,229 miles of electric transmission lines, and other sustainable assets.We are currently recruiting Electrical/Energy Engineer to work with and strengthen our Operations team based in Seville’s office.ResponsibilitiesSolar Energy OptimizationParticipate in internal audits by gathering information related to energy plantsState of the art solar technologies for power generation improvementsBroad view of the solar industry and other technologies in our portfolioEducationBachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical or Industrial EngineeringMaster’s degree in renewable energies is desirable. Excellent English language skills (written and speaking) C1 level is a must.Personal SkillsProblem solving and strong analytical skills. Great communication skills-both oral and written-. Adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to do the right thing under pressure and tight deadlines.Proactiveness with the task and solutions. Knowledge in Electrical design package (module to AC output, wiring, modeling, electronic protection circuits, j-boxes, maximum voltage, site performance etc…) using modelling software and analyzing.Willingness to travel abroad to visit Atlantica’s Assets or New Developments.Know and experience working with:PV technologyTransmission lines and substations Hybrid/Battery Storage knowledge and experience would be considered a strong plusAutoCADSolar resource analysis software: PVSyst, SAM (NREL)Electrical design software: ETAP, dmELECT, PLS-Cadd or similarTechnical QualificationsExperience of 10 years or more as an Electrical Operations Engineer in the renewable energy sector.Desirable to have experience working with PV plants.Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (advanced Excel is a must).BenefitsCompetitive remuneration package.Growth opportunities in a promising and booming industry.A highly committed, dynamic, and challenging environment.
