FPGA DESIGN ENGINEER - VERILOG / VHDL / RTL

The team is responsible for integrating company IP cores into FPGA-based emulation environments and developing new emulation features, enhancing the company’s capabilities to showcase its IP potential. This complex task requires skilled FPGA engineers with experience in designing and optimizing large devices for performance and efficiency. Collaboration with software and firmware teams is essential to leverage these emulation platforms.Key Responsibilities:Integratation of RTL code into new FPGA designs.Configure FPGA peripherals for optimal performance of RISC-V prototyping solutions.Implement new RTL modules for the RISC-V core with optimal I/O configurations.Collaborate with other teams to gather requirements for new features.Maintain and enhance the in-house FPGA resource pool.Develop support and new features for client demonstration systems.Key Requirements:3+ years of industrial experience.Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in computer science.Essential Knowledge:Experience with Xilinx or Altera FPGAs and associated tools (Vivado/Quartus).Familiarity with FPGA Integrated Logic Analyzer probes.Knowledge of AXI4/AXI4-Lite, UART, I2C, and SPI protocols.Proficiency in HDL languages (Verilog/SystemVerilog or VHDL).Understanding of FPGA timing and placement constraints (SDC syntax).Proficient in TCL and Bash scripting.Experience with GIT version control and Linux OS.Knowledge of C/C++ and Python.Valued Knowledge:Experience in packing and integrating IPs into Xilinx Block Designs.Development of RTL test benches and simulation tools (e.g., Siemens ModelSim/QuestaSim).Familiarity with high-end FPGAs (Xilinx Virtex Ultrascale/Ultrascale Plus).Knowledge of Xilinx Aurora, PCIe, Ethernet, and CHI protocols.Hardware debugging skills using laboratory equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.).Keywords:FPGA Engineer / Field Programmable Gate Arrays Engineer / FPGA Design Flow / Interface Protocols / Memory Technologies / Communication Interfaces / UART / SPI / I2C / Oscilloscope / Signal Generator / Signal Analyzer / Electronic Circuits / System Design / Embedded Systems / Processor Architecture / SVN / GIT / VHDL / ECSS-Q-ST-60-02 / ASIC / SpaceBy applying to this role you understand that we may collect your personal data and store and process it on our systems.
