GASTRONOMIC PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

We are looking for an experienced Gastronomic Product Development Manager / Menu Development Chef to join our corporate dining team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a deep understanding of culinary trends, ingredients, and techniques to create innovative and cost efficient menus that meet the needs of our clients, that are passengers that travel by plane, as our network of restaurants is located in airports. The role will have to monitor food costs and adjust menus to meet budgetary requirements.. Your role will involve researching and experimenting with new recipes, ingredients, and new cooking tools/methods to keep our menu exciting and be able to serve a significant number dishes in a short period period of time, what is key in restaurants located in airports. You will also be responsible for training kitchen staff on new menu items and ensuring consistency in food quality and presentation. Requierements:Proven experience of at least 3 years as a Menu Development Chef or similar role. Culinary degree or equivalent experience. Strong knowledge of culinary trends, ingredients, and techniques. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Creative and innovative mindset. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to train and mentor kitchen staff. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. Experience with menu costing and budget management. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team. Strong problem-solving skills. Flexibility to travel at least 50% of the working time. Proficiency in using culinary software and tools. Ability to conduct research and stay informed about industry trends. Strong leadership and management skills. Excellent taste and flavor profiling abilities. Ability to create visually appealing food presentations. Strong customer service orientation. Passion for food and culinary excellence.We offer an indefinite contract with a salary package from 30,000 - 40,000 Euros gross/year, depending on the experience and skills of the final candidate.
