As the Global Category Manager for Professional Services, you'll be critical in shaping our client’s strategic sourcing and supplier management across IT development, and consulting services.

Key Responsibilities.
Strategic Sourcing.
Engage and Collaborate.
Work closely with stakeholders across all business units to understand and formalize their requirements.
Market Analysis.
Assess the global technology vendor landscape to identify the best supply options for Schneider.
Lead Negotiations.
Spearhead RFPs, supplier selections, and contract negotiations to meet our business needs and align with legal and compliance standards.
Project Management.
Oversee strategic sourcing projects from initial planning through to successful implementation.
Category Management and Supplier Relationship Management.
Optimize and Innovate.
Continuously analyze and optimize our portfolio of professional services to drive cost and operational efficiencies.
Drive Productivity.
Collaborate with functional management to deliver significant productivity and savings.
Proactive Management.
Evaluate and manage supplier performance, risk, and innovation, ensuring alignment with our category strategy.
Business Reviews.
Prepare and lead comprehensive reviews with our strategic suppliers.
Stakeholder Management.
Program Adoption.
Promote the adoption of a global program of recommended vendors for IT, R&D, and management consulting services.
Change Leadership.
Lead change initiatives to ensure business needs are met effectively.
Continuous Improvement.
Conduct governance meetings to drive program improvement, enhance stakeholder satisfaction, and optimize supplier performance.
Qualifications.
·         Extensive Experience.
Over 15 years of overall experience, communicating with high-level stakeholders globally and within large, complex organizations.
·         Proven Track Record.
At least 6-8 years of relevant experience sourcing professional services globally, managing budgets of at least €250 million.
·         Negotiation and Sourcing Expertise.
Strong contractual and commercial negotiation skills, supplier management, and sourcing methods.
·         Legal Acumen.
Good understanding of legal aspects related to professional services, including intellectual property, personal data, and cybersecurity.
·         Team Leadership.
Previous experience leading multicultural teams.
·         Project and Change Management.
Demonstrated expertise in managing projects and driving change in a global setting.
·         Data-Driven Decision Making.
Proficiency in e-sourcing and data analytics tools, with a strategic approach to data analysis.
·         Fluency in English.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory.
