Position SummaryWe are looking for a HR Business Partner to provide support to the managers and employees in South Europe (focus on Spain and Italy; additionally Portugal and other countries). Coordinate strategic HR initiatives across the Carboline organisation in Europe and be an active member of the RPM Europe HR team.Key ResponsibilitiesTo provide HR services to all managers and employees of RPM in South Europe including but not limited to:Develops, maintain and implements company Policies, procedures and Policy Manuals – Recommend changes, improvements, and updates to corporate HR.Ensure that we are in legal compliance with all statutory employment laws and regulations Handle all termination paperwork, including PCNs, termination letters and benefits letters, and administering of exit interviews. Execution of defined HR strategies and reviewing results Setting-up HR metrics, KPIs according to business needs and in line with European initiatives Provide advice to all managers on dealing with employee issues in line with country law, internal processes and business needs.Provide support to employees on any employment issues.Ensure compliance with RPM’s processes and procedures To coordinate strategic HR initiatives across the Carboline organisation in Europe, working with local HR colleagues where appropriate, including but not limited to:Responsible for developing and maintaining Job descriptions Administer HR employee management system including annual performance review process, objectives, and trainings. Administer annual compensation program, update compensation program, analyzing compensation market ranges (internal and external market equity), reviewing salary grades, salary surveys and providing annual salary budget increase recommendations. Oversee Carboline Europe’s employee engagement programs which include employee events/activities, social responsibility and community outreach. Identifying country and company requirements and establishing HR processes according to business and employee needs Strategic human resources planning in recruitment, associate and organization development, succession planning and other related functions Participate in Carboline Global HR meetings and Carboline European management meetingsTo be an active member of the RPM Europe HR team including but not limited to:Participating in monthly team meetings both virtually and in personProviding input and information for European policies and initiativesSupporting other team members with dealing with HR activities in South Europe.QualificationsBachelors Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or equivalent+5 years of experience as HR Business Partner or Generalist role.Excellent written and spoken English and Spanish is required. Fluent in Italian will be strongly beneficial.Competent with Microsoft packages and HRIS (preferably Oracle)Extensive contract drafting and review experience related to commercial agreements.Strong communication, coaching, authonomy and problem-solving skills.Ability and willingness to travel to support the company’s operations across Europe.
