IT INFRAESTRUCTURE MANAGER (INTERIM OR FREELANCER)

As an IT Infrastructure Project Manager, you will be a key player in ensuring seamless execution, working closely with diverse stakeholders, and reporting directly to the Global IT Technology Director.
Key Responsibilities.
• Oversee IT Infrastructure projects in data centers, collaborating with multiple vendors including infrastructure implementation partners, telecom providers, and colocation partners, as well as internal IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity teams.
• Leverage a proven background of at least 10 years in the IT Infrastructure field to ensure a strong foundation in common infrastructure solutions and services.
• Manage risks, address issues, control costs, and diligently track deliverables.
• Demonstrate proficiency in preparing presentations, status reports, steerco reports, and effective communication with stakeholders.
• Utilize project management tools such as MS Project, SmartSheet, PowerPoint, and MS O365/Teams.
• Work with key technologies including Fortiswitch, Fortigate, FortiEMS, SD-WAN, VMware/Vsphere/Vcenter, VMware Cloud Foundation, Veeam, VxRail, and Active Directory.
• Navigate the complexities of multinational organizations, ensuring successful project delivery.
• Collaborate across European and United States time zones, with occasional travel requirements.
Requirements.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing data center-related IT Infrastructure projects.
• At least 10 years of proven background in the IT Infrastructure field.
• Fluency in written and verbal English; Spanish proficiency is mandatory.
• Engineering background.
• PMP certified or similar.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work collaboratively.
