Job Title: IT Service ManagerPermanent position3 Days in officeWork Location: MadridSpanish mandatory with English Telecom domain.Job Description:As an IT Service Manager, your role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT services that meet the needs of the organization and its users. Here's an overview of the key responsibilities:1. Service Delivery:- Manage the end-to-end delivery of IT services, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).- Oversee incident, request, and problem management processes to maintain optimal service levels.2. Team Leadership:- Lead and motivate a team of IT service professionals.- Foster a customer-focused culture, emphasizing responsiveness and continuous improvement.3. Service Desk Management:- Direct and supervise the IT service desk, ensuring timely and effective response to user issues.- Implement best practices for incident resolution and escalation procedures.4. Customer Relationship Management:- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their IT service needs.- Build and maintain strong relationships with business units to align IT services with organizational objectives.5. Service Improvement:- Continuously evaluate and enhance IT service processes.- Implement improvements based on feedback, performance metrics, and industry best practices.6. Service Catalog Management:- Develop and maintain a comprehensive service catalog.- Ensure services are clearly defined, documented, and aligned with business requirements.7. Vendor Management:- Collaborate with external vendors to ensure the delivery of outsourced IT services.- Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and address issues as they arise.8. ITIL Framework:- Apply ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) principles and practices in service management.- Implement ITIL processes for incident, problem, change, and configuration management.9. Performance Monitoring:- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve service delivery.- Generate reports and insights for management review.10. Budget Oversight:- Manage the budget for IT service operations.- Optimize resource allocation to ensure cost-effective service delivery.Qualifications:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.- Minimum Years of IT Experience - 10 years- Proven experience in IT service management, with a strong understanding of ITIL principles.- Leadership and team management skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.- Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
