Embracing a challenger mindset, the successful Key Account Manager detects, manages, and closes opportunities with customers that produce transformative business outcomes. The mission:1) Generating new business opportunitiesThrive in a hunter role and discover new business opportunities in your regionUnderstand accounts’ needs and effectively communicate how MDW will meet those needs while ensuring 100% satisfaction with all customersManage the sales cycle including lead generation, qualification, and other deliverables for closing dealsReaching outlines revenue targetsExpands network of key internal and external partners and other business decision-makers in customers' accounts to grow sales 2) Customer EngagementActively seeks customer feedback of assigned accounts regarding ways to identify and understand the drivers of satisfaction and/or dissatisfactionUnderstands customer drivers and business outcomes of digital transformationAssists partners in joint-selling to create new go-to marketsEngages decision-makers of assigned accounts to clearly articulate MDW's value proposition aligned to customer's business objectivesDevelops and implements plans for maximizing upselling/cross-selling The qualifications you need:Have relevant work experience (5+ years) in a professional services company that specializes in information technology (IT)Customer acquisition experience in the following segments: Enterprise (> 5000 employees), Corporate (500 to 5000 employees)Have excellent written, oral communication, and presentation skillsHave strong interpersonal and organizational skillsAble to work, build and maintain relationships at all levels Good to have:Have a BA/BS (or MA/MS) from a university or equivalentExperience in selling professional services related to Microsoft technologiesExperience in one or more of the following topics: Data, AI, BI, Business Applications (preferred)
