Multinational global producer of carton board and folding cartons with an attractive offer in kraftpapers and uncoated fine papers is looking to recruit a Key Account Manager (KAM). Job: Key Account Manager (KAM) – Pharma & Healthcare PackagingLocation: Spain, Madrid o BarcelonaReporting to: Head of Commercial Spain, Spain - PackagingWorking day: Full time – Working from home maximum 2 days/weekSchedule: 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Monday to Thursday, Friday from 8.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m Reporting and Staff: You will report directly to the Head of Commercial Spain and will work in collaboration with Commercial, Operations, Finance and European Sales Team You will not be in charge of a team.Conditions: Very competitive salary, Car allowance, Permanent employment contractJOB REQUIREMENTS Work Experience / Competencies:Demonstrable experience conducting commercial activities in Spain in the cardboard /packaging sector, preferably in the Pharmaceutical/Beauty packaging sub-sector.Experience in the printing sector, preferably in folding cartons.Experience in a multinational environment is a plus.Technical knowledge to be able to present new solutions/designs.Decision mapping, ability to penetrate the client's organization to better understand the key decision-makers.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across different accounts.IT: Good computer skills, knowledge of MS Office.Languages: Written and spoken business Spanish and English.Skills:Commercial profile.Leadership skills to set vision about how the company will be with their customers in the medium term.Strategic thinker.Analytical skills. Understanding what is happening in the business by analyzing different data to make the right decision.Solid communication skills - written and verbal.Ability to work effectively with others.SCOPE OF ROLEThe KAM to be hired must provide new accounts and business in the Packaging Pharma/Beauty sector, and actively participate, both in the maintenance and growth of the customer accounts that will be assigned to him/her.KAMs are responsible for profit growth and are advocates for placing customers at the center of the company's business. They are expected to demonstrate a high level of knowledge of their business and to penetrate the customer's organization to identify and establish productive links with key decision makers beyond the buyers. Internally, KAMs are responsible for coordinating the group's functional resources to ensure a successful cross-functional approach with clients to establish a productive business relationship with key decision makers within the various assignments.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Deliver profitable growth with our existing customers.Prospection, based on market research and agreed prospection listDevelop new business opportunities.Sell added value services.Sell cross categories (cartons/leaflets/labels/foil) to take advantage of our global presence and capabilities (One stop shop)Coordinate the development of technical solutions to customer’s issues. Develop new packaging design/ideas jointly with internal technical expert. Customer/ Market / Competitors intelligence Gathering and sharing with key functions to improve our positioning (Products / Services / Competitiveness)Customer decision mapping. Increase penetration at the customer organizationLead multifunctional projects for the customers.Analyze data to ensure profitability level and proposed actions if needed.Provides input into S&OP process on a monthly basisForecast accuracy.Relation with global KAM, ensure consistency of commercial initiatives and positioning of the companyPrice increase implementation when required.Accurate and timely reporting.Prepare quotation for spot prices / simple formats.Share best practices within the organization. Identify gross margin improvement opportunities.Work jointly with CSO’s for RFQ’s in their customers.
