OverviewNovumgen is a diverse, integrated specialty pharmaceutical and biological company focused on investing, developing, manufacturing and supplying innovative products that provide benefits to patients and prescribers worldwide.We are looking for a key account manager who will consistently achieve sales targets and defined commercial objectives set through a strategic planning process and delivered through a process of advanced Key Account Management (KAM). Job Summary: We are looking for a Key Account Manager who will consistently achieve sales targets and defined commercial objectives set through a strategic planning process and delivered through advanced Key Account Management (KAM). The role involves building relationships within the hospital sector and identifying new business opportunities.Responsibilities:Implement and manage commercial programmes and agreements to maximize sales benefits within key accounts.Work within allocated budgets and the company’s processes, understanding and appropriately using pricing and discount structures.Develop a comprehensive understanding of the market and identify commercial threats and opportunities through market changes.Communicate the implications and impact of commercial programmes to company stakeholders, including sales personnel, supply chain, marketing, and finance.Collaborate with stakeholders when making changes to programmes.Work closely with all key departments, specifically marketing, finance, and supply teams.Build and sustain effective and long-term relationships with key customers, internal and external organizations.Acquire new business.Adhere to the company’s policies, procedures, and GDP Code of Practice.Minimum Requirements:Experience selling to mainline wholesalers, short line wholesalers, and large pharmacy groups.Ability to learn and adapt to changes and new strategies.Ability to build positive working relationships at all levels.Strong presentation skills.Experience delivering client-focused solutions to meet customer needs.Excellent listening and negotiating skills.Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.Must be able to work both independently and within a team environment.Proficiency in using Microsoft Office.Valid driver’s licence.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly with generic products.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key accounts.
