We are looking for a strategic visionary and innovative leader to join our team as the Head of Legal. We are seeking a professional to lead our legal team and make a significant impact on our fintech.We are looking for a Senior Lawyer with extensive experience in law, specialising in consumer lending, legal claims, contracts and consumer protection regulation. This role is crucial for leading a dynamic team, providing high-level legal advice, and supporting the company's growth through innovative legal solutions.Key Responsibilities:● Lead and manage the legal team, promoting a collaborative, high-performance work environment focused on productivity and continuous improvement.● Develop and implement legal strategies that align the company’s goals with local and international regulations.● Draft and review complex contracts in the personal loan, auto financing, and other financial products sectors.● Negotiate and draft debt policies (private credit) with institutional investors to support the company in its funding activities and financial management.● Oversee the management of legal claims, including representing the company in judicial and regulatory proceedings.● Ensure compliance with Spanish and European consumer protection regulations by establishing robust and effective internal policies.● Work closely with other departments, such as Finance, Compliance, and Technology, to identify legal risks and propose mitigation strategies.● Participate in the digitalization of the legal department, leveraging LegalTech tools to optimise processes and improve efficiency.● Stay updated on regulatory changes and trends in the lending, financial, and legal sectors.Technical Requirements:● Law degree and current bar membership.● Minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate law, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.● Strong knowledge of personal loans, civil and criminal legal claims, and contracts.● Experience and knowledge in investment funds (private debt, specialty debt, private equity, securitization, or other forms of corporate financing).● English proficiency at B2 level.● Familiarity with LegalTech tools and experience in the digitalization of legal processes (desirable).Soft Skills and Competencies:● Inspirational leadership● Strategic thinking● Clear and persuasive communication● Complex problem-solving● Adaptability and digital mindsetJob Conditions:● Permanent contract.● Flexible working hours.● Competitive salary, performance-based bonuses, and additional benefits (health insurance, continuous training, etc.).What Do We Offer?● An inclusive, diverse, and challenging environment where your leadership will make a difference.● Ongoing professional development with training and growth opportunities.● Access to state-of-the-art LegalTech tools and legal innovation projects.● The possibility to participate in the company’s equity.If you are a visionary leader with a passion for corporate and financial law and want to be part of a team that values innovation and growth, we invite you to apply!  Join our team and lead the evolution of the legal department!
