The Cyber Security Specialist has a good understanding of established concepts and procedures in protecting Vodafone from security threats, reducing risk across Vodafone�s technology infrastructure and implementing security controls across Vodafone with a single design.
Typically reports to the Cyber Security Manager.
Who you are * Demonstrates a good understanding of procedures and advises the technical operation teams on the Cyber security platforms across their full lifecycle; * Contributes to the transformation of Cyber Security capability, ongoing maintenance and any security related projects to make sure controls are effective; * Detects, identifies and responds to cyber events, threats, security risks and vulnerabilities in line with cyber security policies and procedures; * Uses communication skills to promote Cyber Defence best practices across the market/s; * Effectively interacts with colleagues across Technology and in Corporate Security, audit and risk; * Performs other job-related duties or tasks defined by the supervisor or resulting from assigned agendas.
Roles & Responsibilities Role:- Manager Location:- Pune Experience:- 7 to 11 Years JD:- Understands business and technical requirements of a given project and provides security requirements.
Analysis’s design and provides articulate solutions to ensure compliance of design with Vodafone security policy, controls and best practice ensuring that the business requirements continue to be met whilst reducing and documenting risk.
Security consultants must have in-depth knowledge of telecoms networks and IP networks and/or IT infrastructures and applications as well as security technologies, standards, regulations, and methodologies.
Knowledge of Information Security Assurance (NIST SP , COBIT 5).
Knowledge of Data Privacy / Information Protection/ GDPR.
Worked for a Telco either as directly employed or as industry experience.
CCNA / CISM/CISSP or ISO /ISO certified.
