Job Summary： ·          The Material Clerk, under general supervision, distributes either production or non-production items and materials to various locations throughout the plant.
Materials may consist of purchased parts, in process parts, or finished goods.
·          This position is expected to perform a variety of tasks as assigned in conjunction with the needs of the materials and production departments primarily, and other departments as necessary.
·          Tasks will vary by work area and work assignments will change based on business demands.
Routine job rotations, in alignment with cross-training plans, will be required to support the Safety, Quality and Productivity objectives at the plant.
·          The position is expected to perform the specified job duties within the allotted time, within the quality standards and prescribed methods.
Responsibilities.
·          Manage the shipping process of a manufacturing plant ·          Adhere to all Trane Technologies policies and procedures, first and foremost those relating to safety and quality ·          Perform a variety of tasks as assigned related to the needs of the materials department, including, but not limited to.
o     Unloading/Loading Material from Trailers via Pallet Jacks and PIV Equipment o     Collaborating with Carriers to Load Vehicles o     Setting up Shipments of Finished Goods o     Verification of Model Numbers and Material Shipped o     Utilizing PIV Equipment to Move Materials to Desired Location s o     Verify, and Create, Shipping Documentation o     Collaborating with OTM & External Customers to Set up Shipments o     Maintaining Work Area Cleanliness, Orderliness, and Efficiency in Accordance with Standard Work and 5S Principles o     Actively Contributing to Continuous Improvement Activities, including those related to Safety, Quality, and Productivity ·          Ability to work independently and as a member of the team to identify, improve, troubleshoot, and take ownership for the machine and/or process for which the operator is responsible Qualifications.
·          High school diploma ·          18 years or older ·          Attention to Detail ·          Experience as a Material Handler, preferred ·          Experience with Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Suite Applications, and Oracle Operating Systems, preferred Key Competencies.
