Media Manager SummaryLocation: Barcelona/Prague Day Rate: Negotiable Duration: 2 Months (with a potential view to extend further) Availability: ASAP About the Client My client is the air transport industry's IT provider, delivering solutions for airlines, airports, aircraft, and governments. Their technology powers more seamless, safe, and sustainable air travel. We are seeking a highly skilled Media Manager for a short-term freelance role focused on driving internal communications campaigns. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in media relations, content writing, and public relations, with a proven ability to engage stakeholders effectively.About the RoleKey Duties: • Develop and execute internal communications campaigns to enhance employee engagement and information dissemination. • Manage media relations, including building and maintaining relationships with key media contacts. • Write and edit high-quality content, including press releases, social media posts, and internal communications materials. • Create compelling LinkedIn stories and updates to enhance the company’s online presence. • Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather insights and align messaging with organizational goals. • Independently oversee project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful implementation of communication strategies. What we are looking for Knowledge & Skills • Minimum 5 years of experience in media relations, communications, or public relations, preferably within a communications agency, PR firm, or press office environment. • Strong command of the English language, with exceptional writing and editing skills. • Proven track record of managing projects independently from concept through execution. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. • Familiarity with social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, and content creation strategies. • Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.Candidates must be ok to work a hybrid setup, working 3 days per week in the office, 2 days remote.
