Our Global Innovation Center based in Barcelona, Spain, is currently looking for aPRODUCT DESINGER Our Product Designer as a member of the Innovation Department is responsible for Design concepts and user experiences that are meaningful for people and competitive in the market context.The Product Designer is a key role in the development of design-related activities supporting department activities with a global scope.The successful candidate is a creative self-motivated team player with business-oriented mindset, strong communication skills and a technical background.Responsibilities: Define and communicate fresh and innovative product design proposals with a clear lean, value creation focusUnderstand and synthetize FMCG business requirements, user insights and technological constraints into the generation of new conceptsTransform product success criteria into concept directions (sketch research)Transform concept directions into concepts (design exploration)Rapidly prototype and refine designs to evaluate user understanding and interestPrepare client presentations, able to communicate the key benefits and features of the proposalsGenerate material to support consumer tests (storyboards, presentations & prototypes)Generate design 2D/3D files for prototyping or technical development purposesGenerate design control documentations and guidelinesResponsible for qualitative research to identify design trends.Requirements:Proficiency in EnglishBachelor’s degree in Industrial Design+5 years’ experience in product and/or packaging design, FMCG preferredReal understanding of manufacturing, materials & processes with a strong focus on product developmentCapable of handling and prioritizing multiple projects within a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to details and timingsWork under tight deadline pressure and adapt quickly and amicably to changes in project, scope and scheduleProven ability to effectively communicate ideas both verbally and visually (fluent with Microsoft PowerPoint)Awareness of current trendsCapable to align design solutions with strategic business/marketing objectivesUnderstanding of user-centered design process and lean methodologiesAbility to take criticism & client feedbackStrong communication and presentation skillsStrong creative and problem-solving skillsProficiency with Adobe SuiteFluent 3D CAD and rendering experience (SolidWorks and Keyshot).Self-motivated: pursues knowledge acquisition and skill enhancement opportunitiesStrong hands-on approachTeam playerJoin Us!
