Product Design and Development.
- Assist in designing and developing softgoods products (e.
., textiles, wearable items, accessories) with a focus on comfort, aesthetics, and functionality.
- Contribute to concept ideation, sketching, and prototyping, translating creative ideas into tangible product designs.

Material Research and Selection.
- Support in researching fabrics, textiles, and materials that are best suited for specific product requirements.
- Help evaluate material samples, ensuring they meet durability, comfort, and sustainability standards.
3.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams.
- Work alongside senior designers and collaborate with the product development, sourcing, and production teams to ensure designs are feasible for manufacturing.
- Provide assistance in preparing technical drawings and detailed product specifications for manufacturers.
4.
Prototyping and Testing.
- Assist in building and refining product prototypes, helping to test materials and functionality to ensure products meet user needs.
- Support the team in gathering feedback from user testing sessions to improve design iterations.
5.
Design Documentation.
- Help create and maintain design documentation, including mood boards, material libraries, and technical design files, ensuring all stages of product development are well-documented.
| REQUIREMENTS.
- Experience.
1-3 years of experience in product design, preferably with a focus on textiles or softgoods.
Internship experience in softgoods, fashion, or textile design is also welcome.
- Portfolio.
A portfolio showcasing design projects, including sketches, prototypes, and final products - ideally involving textiles or softgoods.
- Technical Skills.
Basic proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
Familiarity with prototyping tools is a plus.
- Material Knowledge.
Some understanding of fabrics and soft materials, with a willingness to learn more about their properties and uses in product design.
- Creative Problem-Solving.
A hands-on, creative approach to design challenges, with an openness to feedback and iteration.
- Communication Skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and present ideas clearly.
- Languages.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is a plus.
- Education.
Degree or diploma in Industrial Design, Textile Design, Product Design, or a related field.
- Recent graduates with strong portfolios are encouraged to apply.
