We are a group of Product Managers collaborating with different capabilities in the Data Platform.
Together we create a common vision and roadmap.
You will take ownership of creating a modern, scalable data platform that supports a company-wide data mesh, empowering data teams at Volvo Cars to deliver trusted data products quickly and efficiently.
Main responsibilities As a Product Manager, your mission is to deeply understand our users and their problems — data engineers, data scientists, and analysts and translate their needs into a compelling product vision and roadmap.
You will be responsible for.
•    Defining and communicating product vision and strategy Develop a clear and inspiring vision for the data platform, align stakeholders around a shared strategy, and communicate it across the organization.
•    Customer understanding Work closely with data teams to understand their pain points, use cases, and workflows.
Stay informed about market trends and advancements in data infrastructure and analytics technologies to ensure our platform remains cutting-edge.
•    Prioritizing and roadmapping Define and prioritize the product roadmap based on user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
Ensure the team is focused on delivering the highest value features and capabilities.
•    Collaboration and Execution Partner with engineering, design, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of the roadmap.
Lead cross-functional teams in an agile environment, continuously iterating on the product based on feedback and data.
•    Measuring success and iterating Establish key success metrics, monitor platform performance, and gather user feedback.
Use data-driven insights to iterate on the product, making sure it consistently meets or exceeds user expectations.

You should have.
•    Experience in Product Management.
Proven experience managing products in data platforms, data infrastructure, or analytics environments.
•    Strong technical acumen.
A deep understanding of modern data technologies, data governance, data engineering, and cloud infrastructure, with the ability to translate technical concepts into user-centric product features.
•    Customer-focused mindset.
Ability to empathize with end-users, understand their workflows, and deliver solutions that solve real problems.
•    Experience in agile product management methodologies, including backlog prioritization, user story mapping, and iterative development.
•    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of aligning diverse teams around a common product vision.
