PROJECT PROCUREMENT MANAGER

To achieve this, we carry out rigorous selection processes that ensure it.From Project Procurement Manager we are looking for a experienced Buyer for the development of new and future projects.The main functions and responsabilities to develop are the following:Contract Review: Analyze project contracts for procurement-related sections, identifying risks and opportunities.Project Transfer: Attend internal meetings for project transition from Proposal to Project phase and follow the Project Launching Checklist.Documentation and Approvals:Lead the compilation and approval of Purchase Conditions Annexes.Prepare and obtain approval for Procurement Execution and Close-out strategies, both internally and from the client.Procurement Management:Oversee procurement team activities for equipment and material purchasing, ensuring adherence to the project schedule.Manage team resources, update project histograms, and assign responsibilities.Ensure effective communication with cross-functional teams.Purchasing Strategies:Work with Commodity Managers to define and promote purchasing strategies aligned with project goals, including vendor selection.Advocate for sustainable and ethical procurement practices.Cost Management: Monitor budgets, identify cost overruns, and initiate corrective actions with the Estimating Department.Commercial and Supplier Management:Engage in commercial assessments, negotiations, and dispute resolution with suppliers.Monitor supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contracts.Procurement Cycle Management:Oversee milestones, ensure RFIs and RFPs meet project scope, and ensure purchase orders meet project requirements.Participate in award committees and manage change orders.Team Leadership and Development:Lead procurement team meetings, foster professional growth, and ensure lessons learned are captured for future projects.Reporting: Consolidate procurement execution, logistics, and economic reports, ensuring compliance with audit and reporting requirements.Project Close-out: Lead final procurement activities, including reporting and site delivery management.We require at least 10 years experience in the position related to industrial/engineering projects and a fluent level of english is a must.Excelent communication and annalitical skills are necesary.We are offering:-Competitive salary depending on level of experience.- First level international Projects (within oil&Gas and Energy)- Multidiscipline and multicultural enviroment- Flexible timetable from Monday to Friday (remote work 2 days per week)
