QUANTUM FILM PROCESS ENGINEER

At Qurv, we create a paradigm shift in computer vision-based applications (automotive, XR, and robotics) by developing mass-deployable infrared image sensors that can enable machines to see better and more, unlocking new functionalities.We are looking for a world-class Quantum Film Process Engineer to join our Barcelona team and work together to push the limits of our QSTACK (TM) process technology. You will be working closely together with process, integration and device functions to advance our capabilities and support the transfer towards waferscale manufacturing.How a day might look likeDevelop processes for the deposition of semiconductor colloidal quantum dot-based thin films.Assess device performance, and correlate with material properties.Develop in-line metrology procedures and correlate end-of-line data to process parameters.Develop/improve QC methodology for incoming and outgoing materials, processes, etc.Design and execute experiments for device optimization.Gather specifications from internal customers and communicate requirements to other process module owners to deliver high-quality products and prototypes.Report results to cross-functional teams for feedback and further requirements definition.Work as needed with teams in design, process, equipment support, testing, and failure analysis to fully understand device performance and potential failure modes.Contribute towards transfer to waferscale processes and process troubleshooting.Drive to improve yield, streamline processes, and decrease cycle times.Acquire and start-up thin-film deposition equipment.Work with suppliers and industrial/academic collaborators on new material and process development.File relevant patent applications.About youIn-depth knowledge and experience in colloidal quantum dot or perovskites, ligand exchange processes, ink formulation, and coatings processes for optoelectronic device applications.Understanding of electro-optical film properties relevant to optoelectronic device performance.Hands-on experience with metrology techniques such as SEM, AFM, ellipsometry and profilometry.Understands semiconductor devices and process technology.Experience in managing internal/external vendors.Demonstrated history of innovation, problem-solving and failure analysis.Experience in equipment acquisition.Proven working knowledge of R&D to high-volume manufacturing process transfer and statistical process control (SPC) is a plus.M.Sc. or Ph.D. in relevant Science/Engineering subject or equivalent.What it's like to work with usHigh-growth, multicultural and friendly environment.Flexible working hours and trust culture.Continuous professional training.Opportunities to grow with the company.Flexible benefits scheme.Health and well-being package including gym pass and private health insurance.Office 10 minutes away from the sea.We have team members from multiple countries while promoting an inclusive environment for all employees and candidates.Come and join us!
