We are in the middle of a transformation to become a fully electric mobility company by .
Our cars will not only become electric, but they will also become defined by software we promise our customer to keep their products fresh with over the air updates.
With that promise comes the challenge of integrating software, testing, and validating its performance, and releasing it via over the air updates on a 6-to-12-week cadence.
To achieve this, we have developed a CI chain from component level to complete vehicle software, incorporating a high degree of test automation.
We are now seeking a Release Manager to help us advance on this journey.
In this role, you will manage the timing of internal software launches and deliveries, making you a central figure in our daily operations.
To excel in this position, you should be skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams and possess excellent communication abilities.
Additionally, you should have experience in project management and agile software development, as well as a solid understanding of software branching methodologies and production site delivery management.
Being strategically and commercially minded is also essential for this role.

What you´ll do  As a Suspension & TPMS SW Release Manager, you will be responsible drive and coordinate all Software releases within Suspension and TPMS SW and Functions to Car projects.
Tasks you will handle in your role as is.
Software Release   Manage plans, gates, and processes to validate and release software with high quality, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Software Factory  Working together with DevOps teams for building and maintaining the CI infrastructure and tools, including test automation.
Software Integration  Serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) for software delivery and integration.
Lead and coordinate team deliveries from software teams, planning and executing integration activities from domain to complete levels.
Quality &Test  Act as the quality champion for the product.
Secure process of implementing and managing test environments, and executing automated and manual extended testing in HIL, SIL, complete vehicle rigs, and cars to ensure continuous deliveries to our car projects.
Processes  Promote continuous improvement by working with Scrum masters and teams to enhance software development and release processes.

Education and Skills.
You have a MSc Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering or equivalent.
You have experience from project management and agile software development and understanding in the areas of Software branching methods and steering delivery to production plants.
You have experience of software development programs with a background of software design and hands- on programming.
You need to be fluent in English (spoken and written).
You have a driving license B valid in Sweden.
In addition to the above the Release manager for the Suspension and TPMS SW must be a technology leader with experienced in.
Experience of Software function development and knowledge of inhouse Base Software development, integration and testing in Car projects.
Experience of release processes, preferable in VCC.
Release strategies and release processes for Continuous integration & Deployment.
Experience working with real-time systems (e.
.
AUTOSAR environments) and Safety critical software compliant with ASIL requirements.
Knowledge in software Quality Assurance (QA) ranging from ‘simple’ manual tests to fully automated Continuous Integration scenarios from unit to complete level.
Knowledge in automotive standards.
networking (Ethernet, CAN, LIN, etc.), development of electrical systems (e.
., ISO), functional safety and cybersecurity (e.
., ISO).
