For more information: mn8energy.com.Position overview: The Revenue Accounting Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing the billing process, the cash collection process, and revenue accounting ledger. Additional responsibilities include managing the budget to actual review, the account reconciliation review, and the revenue estimate process.As Revenue Accounting Sr Manager: Oversee the cash application processReport related metrics to Vice Presidents and C-SuiteStrong understanding of the various types of renewable energy revenue streams of MN8Ensure monthly close is performed timely to meet internal and external deadlinesProvide due diligence on new deals, developments and projects to determine revenue recognition and any possible implicationsManage the transfer of revenue/AR processes for any acquisitions made from third partiesPartner with senior members across the firm to identify cross vertical gaps in controls, processes, and implementation plansIdentify potential issues with accounting or procedures and remediateBuild on process improvements and documentation to improve internal growthCoordinate with reporting deliverables with FP&A and SEC Reporting team monthlySupport the preparation of financial statements, footnotes and MD&A in quarterly 10-Qs and annual 10-KsWork with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual auditsSupport SOX complianceLead or assist with special projects on an ad-hoc or as requested basisEnsure control and supervisory functions are being appropriately performed across the groupOur Ideal Candidate Will Have: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance8+ years of progressive accounting experience3+ years of people managementFluency in English required (C2 or Native)Fast learner with the ability to become a technical expert over timeExemplary critical thinkingRenewables industry and experience in the US market is requiredRevenue/Billing experience is requiredAbility to multi-task and work independently, as well as within a team environmentExperience with tight deadlines and timeliness for work performedGreat communication skillsStrong business acumenAttention to detail and accuracyExcellent organization skillsExperience with OneStream and Yardi Voyager a plusHow we set you up for Success:At AIRS, an affiliate of MN8 Energy LLC, we cultivate a culture of equity, through transparency and accessibility, where everyone thrives.
