SCADA TECHNICAL ENGINEER - REGIONAL SUPPORT (ZARAGOZA)

Region MED > SBU MED Service > SCADA Technical Support Vestas is the global leader in wind energy, and we are looking for a SCADA Technical Engineer to join our Regional Support team in Zaragoza.
This position is aimed at professionals with a background in technical engineering, strong knowledge of SCADA systems, networking, and operating systems, and a desire to develop their careers in an evolving and technological environment.
Responsibilities Provide Level 1 support for SCADA and IT systems in wind farms Diagnose and resolve issues related to platforms, servers, and hardware Offer remote support to service technicians during on-site operations Manage and update internal ticketing tools and technical documentation Assist in configuring and maintaining control and data acquisition systems Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Technical Engineering (IT, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field) Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems Knowledge of networking and communication system configuration Familiarity with VMware virtualization environments and SQL databases Experience in PLC programming and communication protocols (IEC 104, IEC 101, MODBUS, DNP, OPC) is beneficial Advanced level of English (spoken and written) Competencies Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work with multiple stakeholders Highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented Effective teamwork and communication skills What we offer Permanent contract Attractive salary + bonus Meal card Life and medical insurance Opportunities to grow professionally in an international environment Additional Information Location.
