For this unique platform, and global business initiative, we are looking for highly-experienced and skilled experts to join the Sekoya Business Unit to achieve success in this initiative committed to create a global platform empowering consistent, reliable, and easy access to exceptional blueberries every day.To help us accomplish this, we are seeking a qualified Retail Manager EMEA. This position will be located in Spain, Europe.JOB SETTING:Remote office; requires domestic and international travelWHAT IS SEKOYA?SEKOYA® is a leading B2B platform dedicated to providing exceptional blueberry genetics, ensuring customers enjoy the best eating experience year-round. Our innovative supply platform combines a range of varieties, services, quality guidelines, and retail coordination to cater to the premium fruit market globally. Our mission is to facilitate consistent and reliable access to outstanding blueberries.POSITION SUMMARY: As the SEKOYA® Retail Manager for the EMEA region, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our brand presence and driving growth in the premium blueberry market. Your responsibilities will include:Brand Representation: Act as the primary representative of SEKOYA® within the industry, promoting global growth and enhancing brand awareness.Retail Relationship Management: Develop and manage strategic relationships with major retail companies to boost demand and consumption of premium blueberries, fostering category growth.Retail Engagement: Initiate and support engagement strategies with SEKOYA® members to enhance collaboration and market presence.Strategy Development: Lead the development and implementation of SEKOYA® brand strategies, concepts, and communication plans.Policy Oversight: Oversee global policies related to marketing, retail, trade, and consumer engagement.Industry Representation: Serve as the face of SEKOYA® at industry congresses, events, tradeshows, and international exhibitions, effectively presenting the SEKOYA® platform.Brand Protection: Safeguard the integrity and value of the SEKOYA® brand in all dealings.Product Development: Play a crucial role in product development initiatives aimed at current and prospective customers.Collaboration: Work closely with the SEKOYA® General Manager to align procurement and sales strategies within the global supply chain.Market Insights: Collaborate with global licensees and retailers to provide essential market insights to Fall Creek regional teams regarding demand and opportunities.QUALIFCATIONS:Proven experience in retail management, preferably within the food or agricultural sector.Strong understanding of the premium fruit market and consumer trends.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.Strategic thinker with experience in brand management and marketing.Ability to travel for industry events and meetings as required.In addition, we are looking for:At least 10 years of relevant working experience Knowledge of and experience with commercial producer/buyer dynamicsKnowledge of, and experience with, operating in an international environment Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with a preference for candidates with additional Spanish, French, German, Dutch, or other language(s) spoken in our marketsJoin Us: If you are passionate about driving growth in the premium fruit segment and thrive in a dynamic, innovative environment, we invite you to apply for the position of Retail Manager (EMEA) at SEKOYA®.
