The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Android development using Kotlin and a passion for creating high-quality mobile applications. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to our team's success. Main tasks and responsibilities:Apply SOLID principles and clean code practices to new features, and refactor legacy code to meet current standards. Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Kotlin. Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and best practices. Write unit, integration, and UI tests to ensure code robustness and reliability. Troubleshooting and resolving issues in existing Android applications. Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing expertise and fostering a culture of continuous learning. Development and maintenance of existing and new libraries and SDKs. Optimizing application performance for a seamless and responsive user experience. Staying up-to-date with the latest Android development trends and technologies The Ideal candidate will have:+8 years of professional experience in Android mobile development. Strong expertise in Kotlin, with a deep understanding of modern Android architecture components (e.g., Jetpack, ViewModel, LiveData, Room). Proficiency in writing clean, readable, and well-documented code. Familiarity with SOLID principles and Android frameworks such as Navigation Component, Dependency Injection, Flow, Contracts. Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern declarative UI frameworks. Unit testing experience with Mock or JUnit. Experience with version control systems, such as Git. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts. We would love to know more about you if you have:Interest in psychology and mental health. Fluency in English and native Spanish Bachelor degree / vocational training. Familiarity with modular architecture. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Gitlab CI/CD, Bitrise). Contributions to open-source or personal tech projects.
