Senior Backend Engineer (Generative AI)
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer with a keen interest in Generative AI solutions and a strong passion for software architecture and development. In this role you will contribute to the advancement of our financeGPT solution a cutting-edge tool designed to enhance operational efficiencies for top-tier companies in the Financial Services Industry (FSI). This position offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of technological innovation and directly impact the future of financial technologies.
This position is hybrid / remote and requires you to have a valid work permit in Spain.
Tasks

- Develop and maintain backend systems using NodeJS and NestJS ensuring high performance and scalability.

- Design and implement RESTful APIs CI/CD pipelines and database management solutions with PostgreSQL.

- Optimize and manage microservices to support complex high-performance applications.

- Conduct code reviews and participate in design discussions to foster collaborative development.

- Engage with financial industry clients to address technical issues and oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to deployment.

- Contribute to the integration of advanced technologies like Docker and Kubernetes to streamline development and deployment workflows.

- Continuously explore new tools and best practices to enhance the backend architecture and development process.

- Communicate effectively within a multilingual team leveraging fluency in English and optionally German.


Requirements

- 5+ years of experience with NodeJS preferably NestJS as well as familiar with RESTful APIs CI/CD (GitHub Actions Docker Kubernetes) and database management (PostgreSQL)

- Skilled in building high-performance applications managing microservices and database optimization

- Strong problem-solving skills and experience working in collaborative team environments (engaging in code reviews and design discussions)

- Comfortable in handling customers from the financial industry to resolve issues and dedicated to monitoring product development from concept to deployment

- Fluent in English proficiency in German is a plus
