SENIOR DEVOPS ENGINEER

Senior DevOps Engineer - OnsiteA global leader in FinTech is building a brand new Platform Engineering team and is looking for experienced Senior DevOps Engineers to join them. They’re hiring across all levels, including Senior Engineers, Staff Engineers, Principal Engineers, even Team Leads.This is an opportunity to work on deeply technical, innovative solutions as part of a collaborative, distributed team. If you’re a skilled engineer who thrives on building high-quality systems and mentoring others, this could be the perfect role for you.What You’ll Be DoingCollaborating with a team of Platform and Site Reliability Engineers to ensure high availability and reliability of systems.Developing and maintaining monitoring, incident management, and troubleshooting processes for infrastructure and applications.Using observability tools to gain insights into system performance and health, making data-driven decisions for improvements.Designing and implementing automation tools and processes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.Performing on-call duties on a rotating basis to address high-severity incidents and ensure system availability.Working closely with development teams to ensure applications are designed for scalability and reliability.Participating in the design and implementation of new systems and services to ensure they meet reliability and scalability requirements.Staying up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and practices related to DevOps and infrastructure.What They’re Looking ForExtensive experience in building and managing large-scale distributed systems.Strong understanding of cloud architecture and application deployment patterns, ideally on Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform.Experience operating web-scale deployments of containerized systems on Kubernetes and Amazon Container Services.Proficiency in programming languages, with Python as a plus or a willingness to learn on the job.Strong debugging skills to track down root causes of issues and implement solutions systematically.Clear and concise communication skills in English, both written and verbal, for working with a diverse team.Experience with security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2, GDPR, DORA) is a plus.Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).Why Join This Team?Be part of a company that’s leading innovation in FinTech, with exciting plans for 2025 and beyond.Help shape a brand new Platform Engineering team, laying the groundwork for ongoing success.Join an internal group focused on building a supportive, equitable workplace within the Technology Team.Enjoy competitive salaries, performance bonuses, and equity opportunities.Access continuous professional growth through training, certifications, and a career progression framework.intro Consulting Ltd are proud to represent this forward-thinking FinTech client.
