Job Description Role purpose.
To integrate, improve and 24*7 operate Windows and VMware Vodafone applications and customers.
To maintain and implement a growing set of virtual platforms used to provide mission critical infrastructure services to Vodafone customers.
To constantly analyze, optimize and extend/simplify the global Vodafone Wintel Platforms   24/7 operations of Vodafone infrastructure services, assuring maximum stability and efficiency in line with ITIL accountabilities (Incident, Service Request, Problem, Task, Change, Release) Support and execute Windows, VMware refresh and decommissioning programs in order to maintain a high level of innovation in the virtual infrastructure technology estate Providing support in key critical activities relating to Windows and VMware Operations Strong knowledge on Windows Server, Active Directory & VMware technologies Excellent read/write capabilities in English Experienced in multinational environments Background expertise in the field of server, administration At least 3 years of experience in DC virtualisation and Windows Server Support Exp.
