“We are Currently Hiring “Job Description: Position: Senior FP & A – Manager (Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Manager)Position Reports to: Finance Director – EMEA Location: Madrid, Spain Role Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior FP&A Manager to join our dynamic team.This role is critical in driving strategic financial planning, business partnering with key stakeholders, and enhancing reporting processes to support data-driven decision-making.The position requires a blend of strategic insight, analytical acumen, and strong interpersonal skills to work closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Commercial leaders.This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with strong financial acumen and leadership capabilities, who is eager to make a strategic impact in an organization.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Planning and Forecasting:Lead the annual budgeting and long-term strategic planning processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Develop accurate, timely, and insightful financial forecasts, incorporating business drivers and market trends.Provide financial modeling and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.Business Partnering:Act as the primary finance business partner to Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams.Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost optimization, and efficiency improvements.Deliver actionable insights to drive business performance and align operational strategies with financial goals.Reporting and Process Enhancement:Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.Drive improvements in financial reporting processes, leveraging automation and tools to enhance efficiency and transparency.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare dashboards for senior leadership.Month-End Closing and Controls:Support the month-end and quarter-end closing processes, ensuring completeness and adherence to timelines.Implement and maintain strong financial controls to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.Work closely with accounting teams to address variances and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, CIMA) are highly desirable.7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A/Commercial Finance, preferably in the consumer goods, healthcare, or related industries.Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting.Demonstrated ability to partner with senior stakeholders across functions and influence decision-making.Advanced proficiency in financial systems (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, MSD) and Excel. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences.Proven track record of driving process improvements and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
