Overview This position is responsible for the Global Gaming Services-Wide Area Progressives (WAP) Gaming Support team and based onsite full time in our Reno, Nevada office.
This role is accountable and responsible across multiple organizations within IGT, internal and external customers as well as gaming regulatory bodies and compliance teams.
This pivotal position will lead and direct the activities of the Gaming Support network team responsible for integrating hardware and/or software framework, systems and/or product design functions or designing underlying architecture.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to.
Manage technical projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget and follow predefined standards.
Define KPI’s & objectives and track outcomes.
Coordinate infrastructure including data center related projects.
Lead projects teams across multiple specialties.
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource prioritization plans.
Build strong multi-functional relationships with operational leaders to provide partnership and mentorship on WAP gaming operations.
Develop strong working collaborations with partners, vendors, and peer organizations to ensure the highest level of engagement and support.
Review and validate digital performance metrics that are delivered at relevant points in the season/year and monitors progress against objectives for the team.
Provide leadership, support, and professional development for team members in both formal and informal settings.
Participate in various organizational programs and initiatives as needed to support innovation or develop new tech platforms and functionality.
Drive a culture of passion and professionalism to support the ongoing growth of the business and team members by fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and service excellence.
Ownership and approvals of Sarbanes Oxley controls for WAP Access.
Ensures all approvals for the WAP system updates and modifications.
Manage, plan and monitor team budget on annual, monthly and weekly basis.
Collaborate cross functionally, provide triage support as required and optimize processes to increase team productivity.
Requirements Qualifications and Skills.
Bachelor’s degree in tech field, computer science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
10+ years’ management experience in a combination of WAP or gaming operations including strategy, business operations, and technology innovation roles with demonstrated leadership and outcomes.
Significant experience within the gaming industry and familiarity with gaming operations and enterprise network and Internet systems.
Ability to acquire a gaming license across multiple jurisdictions.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Strong analytical and technical skills, with ability to understand complex technical issues.
Experience working on projects across multiple channels and domains.
Demonstrated experience and ability to lead non-centralized/hybrid teams, develop and manage stakeholder relationships, and development of leadership potential.
In-depth knowledge of the gaming industry, gaming regulations and casino operations.
Valid and current ITIL Foundation certification Fundamental skills preferred.
