SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead our B2C Player Experience Product team. Player Experience are responsible for building the player facing web and mobile applications that power our global Sports Betting platform.You will be responsible for leading the product management service and team accountable for multiple software product domains across their entire lifecycle, from inception to optimal maturity and commercial value and ultimately deprecation. Another key aspect of the role will be ensuring that the product is always optimally aligned to the needs of internal and external business stakeholder, by defining and driving effective product strategies, market and competitor analysis, product standards and commercialisation.This role will also be responsible for defining and driving the strategies, practices, and continuous improvement of the product management service in collaboration with other Senior Product Managers.Key ResponsibilitiesPlanning, Direction & Analysis:Develops and adjusts product vision, strategy, roadmaps, and propositions for multiple product domains, within the context of the business unit, organisation and customer's vision & strategy.Provides input to the business strategy from a product perspective.Serves as the single point of contact for gathering high level product requirements from customers and internal stakeholders and assess viability.Motivates for product requirements to be prioritised and added to the delivery roadmap.Aligns and influences product demand and backlog items and provide the business rationale on priorities to the business unit, internal stakeholders and customers to ensure that, over time, the needs of stakeholders are met, and benefits (financial and other) are achieved.Define product risks with preventative or mitigating actions for a portfolio of products in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.Defines and drives adherence to product standards to ensure organisational alignment and product consistency.Reviews all product enhancements with Product Owners and ensures the deliverables meet the expectations of customers (implement, iterate, repeat)Defines and analyses KPIs to provide insights and enable data-driven product decisions and recommendations based on considerations such as product ROI, profitability, adoption, utilisation and availability.Analyses global market and competitor trends and decide on optimal product positioning to enable maximum ROI and market growth.Determines product costs and forecasts revenue potential to inform product viability and build / buy / invest decisions across a portfolio of products.Aligns and monitors the execution of the various product marketing strategies to maximise relevance and drive revenue growth across the organisation.Practices & Continuous Improvement:Develops, drives and adjusts the product management service strategy which includes people, product, services, technology, financial, etc. to future proof and provide medium term direction that supports the BU and organisational strategy and aligns with other product management strategies.Defines, continuously improves and drives adoption of the processes, technology and standards to establish optimal, company-wide product management practices that aligns with industry developments and changing business requirements.Accountable for ensuring that the products and features delivered by the development teams are meeting current, future and customers’ needs. This is achieved by working closely with the development teams.Stakeholder Management:Establishes and maintains a comprehensive stakeholder analysis and the required agreements to ensure alignment with internal and external stakeholders.Engages with strategic stakeholders to obtain feedback and continuously aligns on product portfolio's vision and strategies, trends.Creates knowledge sharing programmes and content to ensure understanding and adoption of product management practices.Promotes the Product Management service amongst business stakeholders to drive awareness, support and alignment across the organisation.Drives change management initiatives to ensure stakeholders adopt and realise the benefits of improvements that affect them.People Management:Creates and executes a capability and capacity plan (Including skills, resources and succession) to address current and future people capabilities required for the delivery of organisation-wide portfolio services.Coaches and develops people within the context of the BU and broader organisational strategies to improve individual and organisational performance and ensure a culturally aligned team.Manages the processes to ensure the team is fully staffed and equipped with the resources and skillset required for current and future projects.Sets clear work expectations and identify and manage poor performance of individuals to maintain a high standard of delivery aligned to company values and principles.Has regular, quality performance development conversations and drives the required action to support team members' growth, development and contribution to the team and company culture.Ensures alignment with and drive team adoption of relevant changes resulting from situational/organisational/market requirements.Technical Skills & Experience6+ years’ experience in Product Management.2+ years’ experience in people management.Strong commercially mindset.You are a strong people manager with demonstrable skills and experience of influencing other teams and a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.You can manage high performance in a fast-paced environment and can deal with stressful situations in a calm and effective manner.You are focused on the realisation of objectives and can set and achieve ambitious goals.You are curious and seek to understand the big picture business objectives and have the ability to craft plans to realise these business objectives.Who are Derivco Sports?Derivco Sports is a dynamic and inclusive company that houses some of the top developers and technical minds within the industry.
