If you’re looking to make an impact in the gaming industry and be part of an exciting journey, Codigames is the perfect place for you!🚀 Your role As a Product Manager at Codigames, you will be responsible for defining and driving the roadmap of one (or more) of our games, with a particular focus on Idle and Tycoon gameplay mechanics. You will ensure our games remain fun, balanced, and engaging while optimizing their economic systems and overall performance. Working closely with a talented cross-functional team, you’ll use data-driven insights and industry expertise to enhance player experiences and achieve business goals.💻 Key responsibilities Product Ownership:Own the P&L and drive product growth.Own the product vision and roadmap for your assigned game(s).Design and implement features that enrich Idle and Tycoon gameplay, focusing on both engagement and monetization.Monitor and iterate on features post-launch to refine and improve performance.Game Economy Design:Collaborate with designers and analysts to balance in-game economies, ensuring fairness, progression, and player satisfaction.Assess the impact of new features on the core gameplay and economic systems.Develop systems that drive player retention and monetization without compromising the player experience.Data-Driven Optimization:Analyse KPIs (e.g., retention, ARPU, DAU/MAU) to identify growth opportunities.Design and interpret A/B and multivariate tests to measure feature performance.Build dashboards and reporting systems to track game and feature performance.Collaboration and Leadership:Work closely with design, engineering, LiveOps, and monetization teams to ensure features align with the game’s vision and goals.Provide clear documentation and rationale for decisions to align cross-functional teams.Market and Competitive Analysis:Stay informed about trends in Idle and Tycoon games and the broader mobile gaming market.Benchmark Codigames’ titles against competitors to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.🎯 Skills you’ll need to succeed3-5+ years of experience in Product Management in the game industry, ideally within Idle or Tycoon games.Deep understanding of F2P mechanics and game economies, with the ability to design and balance progression systems.Proficiency with data tools such as Excel, SQL, or analytics platforms (e.g., Looker, Tableau).Proven experience designing, conducting, and interpreting A/B tests to drive product decisions.Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to align and motivate cross-functional teams.Experience working with project management tools like Jira and Confluence.Fluent in English, both written and spoken 🛠️ Nice-to-have skillsHands-on experience balancing and optimizing game economies in Idle or Tycoon games.Knowledge of hybrid monetization models (ads and in-app purchases).Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase).Passion for Idle and Tycoon games, with a strong understanding of their player base and market trends.Ability to break down complex systems into actionable, player-focused features.Fluent in Spanish, both written and spokenPerks & benefits🌍 Work from anywhere: Enjoy the freedom of a 100% remote model—work from any corner of the world!🏢 Valencia HQ: Prefer an office environment?
