SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER - RENEWABLES : PV +_BESS PROJECTS

Opportunity to join a leading international green energy development company as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager, depending on experience.Please apply with English CV, thanks .Prior experience managing solar or battery storage projects is required. Due to client requirements, only applicants with experience in Solar/BESS project management will be considered for this role.Location: Office in Madrid, with projects nearbyLanguages: Spanish and EnglishThe Project Manager / Senior Project Manager is a key part of this Renewable Energy team and plays an essential role in the execution. You will be responsible for the delivery of the construction phase of projects including management, coordination and reporting.• Broad project management & prepare project status reports to both HQ and local stakeholders• Daily engagement, co-ordination and management of consultants, suppliers and contractors• Support supply chain, engineering and on-site teams to ensure the project is delivered according to the correct standards and timeframes.• Working with peers function, support the project hand over to investors according to agreed timeline, including but not limited to inspection and commissioning.• Create detailed schedules and be able to work on multiple projects at one time.Skills And Qualifications• A degree in solar or Electrical Engineering or a related engineering science• Past and recent experience in Utility solar/BESS industry.• Relevant work experience in the design, construction, and commissioning of PV power plants.• Recent experience as project manager in solar sector, deliciated in project implementation (accumulated 50+ MWp completed solar project reference) but also involved in project development (technical supporting) during the project development stage;• Familiar with the grid interconnection process for Spain Market;• Good communication networks with the local authorities, and capable to secure the permits and approvals from the local authorities;• Strong presence at the project subcontractors and EPC contractors;• Strong capability in project progress control, troubleshooting, QAQC management, safety management, cost control, resources management and risk management;• Previous experience managing projects from initial design to installation and execution are preferred.• Experience in permitting processes
