At Swissport, we are guided by our core values of Showing You Care, Doing the Right Things and Winning as a Team, and we are currently seeking dedicated people, who align with these values, to join our team in multiple locations across the world.Job SummaryWe are seeking maternity cover for our EMEA Senior Tax manager based in Madrid and joining our Group Tax team, reporting directly to the Global Head of Tax based in Luxembourg. This key role will provide comprehensive tax planning and advisory services across the region, with a focus on driving business growth while ensuring tax compliance.Core ResponsibilitiesSupporting and to develop and implement the regional tax strategy aligned with broader business objectives, optimizing the tax positions of the organisationAct as the primary liaison for regional business partners, including senior business leaders, finance teams, and legal experts, fostering strong relationships to facilitate collaboration.Provide expert guidance on tax implications related to mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, and other strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.Support Global Transfer pricing reporting and planning, ensuring compliance with local and international standards while coordinating efforts with the global tax team.Ensure all tax filings and payments are completed accurately and on time while monitoring changes in tax legislation and proactively adjusting organizational practices together with our third party service providersManage uncertain tax positions and tax audits, support to developing strategies to mitigate risks associated with regulatory isputes and enhancing the company’s risk profile.QualificationsInternational tax experience either inhouse or with Big 4 firms, and working within a complex international environmentStrong strategic mindset with the ability to provide insights that influence business decisions.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders.Expertise in tax regulations, compliance, and transfer pricing methodologies.Masters in Tax LAW
