SPACE PRODUCT AND QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER

We are looking for a Product and Quality Assurance Manager to join our Technology team. You will be expected to lead the Product and Quality Assurance activities of the projects. Preparation of project-specific product assurance plans according to customer requirements.Responsibility for all the quality aspects of a specific project/product.Ensuring that the development and delivery of all hardware and software is in full compliance with the contractual and company requirements for safety, reliability, maintainability and quality assurance.Coordination of the planned measures with customers and with the project management.Implementation of the agreed requirements in the project.Definition of product assurance requirements for subcontracts and review/release of the resulting plans.Interface with the customer for pa aspects and participation and lead of quality related reviews/meetingsSupervision of subcontractors in the implementation of these requirements and acceptance of their deliveries and services.Coordination / execution of product assurance tasks during development and manufacturing in-house and at subcontractors' facilities.Coordination / execution of inspections and monitoring of test activities in house and at subcontractors.Preparation / approval of relevant product assurance documents.Responsibility for all the quality aspects of a specific project/product.Ensuring that the development and delivery of all hardware and software is in full compliance with the contractual and company requirements for safety, reliability, maintainability and quality assurance.Participate to project meetings.Work closely with technical team.Coordination with project managerMaintain compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols specific to space hardware manufacturing. (e.g. ECSS)What you need:Work Experience:Minimum 5 years of professional experience in space industry as pa manager or in similar positions in the area of space system product assurance for ESA/ASI programs.We are looking for people with a flair for learning, and a desire to continually improve. Education Requirements:Master’s degree in aerospace/aeronautics, electrical or mechanical engineering.Advanced English (speaking, reading, writing and listening).Spanish advantageous.Technical Competences:Minimum 5 years of professional experience in space industry as pa manager or in similar positions in the area of space system product assurance for ESA/ASI programs.Demonstrated experience in EEE management.Soft Skills:High level of flexibility, willingness to work in international teams and ability to keep tight schedules.High motivation, pro-active working approach and strong sense of responsibility.Strong capability of leading teams with well-developed communication skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with creative thinking.Team player and able to work collaboratively in a team environment.Motivated by grand challenges and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the exciting quantum security space.
