SSIA FINANCE - GOVERNANCE, RISK & CONTROL FINANCE MANAGER

The GRC Manager shall be responsible for upholding the principles enshrined in the Governance, Risk and Control Frameworks of Securitas.The successful incumbent shall ensure that the requirements of the Frameworks are operationalized and complied with by staff in the Division. He/she carries the responsibility and accountability of promoting Good Governance & Risk Conscious Culture in the organization.The main purpose of the incumbent is to ensure that there are proper mechanisms in place to ensure good governance, risk management, control, compliance and business continuity for Securitas. Key accountabilitiesGovernanceSupport the Group in implementing, documenting, assessing and monitoring an internal control framework, including Group policies and key risks in order to ensure that Securitas has adequate controls to prevent unintentional and intentional errors in financial reporting, processes and business operations as a whole.Champion tools and best practice methods, ensuring and developing the financial/accounting quality of local country closings, procedures and routines and should actively drive and support such process.Work collaboratively with the Group, business and process owners to implement and monitor corrective actions.Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards that impact the organization's operations.Ensure that the organization complies with all applicable regulations, ranging from data privacy and security to industry-specific requirements.Implement and monitor compliance programs, policies, and procedures.RiskHelp to create and update policies and procedures to improve internal controls and compliance.Be the main point of contact for Internal Control matters with Securitas Group and support local stakeholders.Lead the country Internal Control reviews and run the yearly Internal Control cycle.Design and implement additional divisional & country controls.Execute test of controls.Deliver adequate and timely reporting on the internal control framework and control deficiencies to ensure appropriate documentation and escalation to business partners, senior leadership and Audit Committee.Actively seek standardization and automation, applying and implementing best practices for managing internal controls.OtherPrepare annual work plan for the Division and monitor execution of the KPI’s and the Countries Performance Plan.Developing a strong local audit framework drive improvement activity when controls have been deemed not effective by auditors and ensure follow-up of identified observations and action plans.Adopt technology innovative solutions (where possible) to enhance and continuously improve the design and operating effectiveness of the controls, documentation, assessment and review procedures.Take responsibility to develop local country finance teams - conduct adequate training and prepare related material on the internal control objectives, approach and methodology to business partners on a regular basis to build knowledge and understanding of risks and control.Help developing ERP and other tools supporting the business.Ensure that the company’s values, ethics, and policies are continuously maintained and followed.Consult with internal and external groups such as Legal, Business Ethics & Compliance, ERM and other Operations teams. Ensure sustainability reporting process according to CSRD Directive is followed in SSIA countries, and consolidate SSIA sustainability reporting in close coordination with the Sustainability Area. Reporting patternThe GRC Manager reports to the SSIA Divisional Head of Finance Business Partnering with a dotted line to the Director Head of Group ICFR.He/she has a team under his/her supervision within the divisional countries finance teams.He/she also interacts with other departments in the organization, namely IT, HR, Legal, Business Ethics & Compliance, Operations and Sales, and is expected to interact with internal and external stakeholders, namely internal (Group Internal Audit) and external auditors (EY) and authorities from time to time whenever is deemed necessary. Education & ExperienceEducationDegree in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Economics, Business/Administration.Qualified Chartered Accountant with equivalent qualification to CPA, CIA or CISA.Experience5+ years of experience from a leading finance position.Ideally a background from “Big 4” audit company prior to moving into industry. Experience in a business industry is a plus.Experience working in an international complex matrix environment.Technical SkillsSound working knowledge of COSO.Solid technical skills in internal control, business analysis and financial reporting.Knowledge of operational risk management principles.Excellent spoken and written Spanish and English skills.Advanced user of Microsoft Office & ERP systems and compliance tools.Soft SkillsHigh integrity and a strong drive to achieve.Successful leadership and management experience.Strong experience and interest for how technology and systems can support internal control effectiveness and efficiency.Demonstrated ability to develop and implement processes and policies.Striving for continuous improvement and optimization.Ability to work well independently as well as the ability to work well with stakeholders.Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. o A great communicator at all levels.Pro-active and results orientated.Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude.Ability to develop and build strong business and personal relationships.
