SUPPLY PLANNING & PURCHASING MANAGER

We are looking for a Supply Planning & Purchasing Manager to oversee the cost-effective supply of products, with an annual purchasing spend of up to €10M. Animalcare is a partner for companies selling into and across Europe.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the key decision-maker on supply and stock managementManage SAP MRP systems and ensure master data accuracy in order to manage desired Service, Inventory, and Write-Off levelsOversee the end-to-end supply process from procurement to warehousing across multiple marketsResponsible for inventory reporting, including product write-off, slow-moving products, and supply risks; taking ownership of mitigating actions as part of continuous improvementCollaborate with the Demand Planning Team to mitigate potential supply risksStrengthen supplier relationships to improve efficiency, costs, and supply chain performanceLead strategic supply decisions such as site transfers and stock buildsDrive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chainManage supply agreements and ensure all parties meet obligationsWork closely with transport providers, quality, and regulatory teams to ensure complianceWhat We’re Looking ForA supply chain professional with hands-on experience in SAP MRP systemsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesExcellent relationship management and negotiation skillsAbility to lead strategic projects and drive continuous improvementWillingness to travel to suppliers as neededFluent in English; additional language skills are a plusWhy Join Us?A challenging role with significant responsibility and room for growthOpportunity to shape the future of our supply chain operationsCollaborative, dynamic team environmentBe part of a network of five supply chain professionals in Europe, exchanging knowledge and best practicesApply now to be part of a growing and innovative team!Apply via LinkedIn or send your CV to: recruitment@animalcaregroup.comPlease note: Due to the high volume of applications, we may not be able to respond to each one.
