TECHNICAL SERVICE MANAGER

In Europe, we operate 9 production plants across 7 countries and serve customers in the entire EMEA region.Technical Services Manager, Road Marking divisionReporting to the EMEA Head of Sales, Road Marking and working closely with R&D and Sales teams across the region, the role will contribute to the organization’s objectives by providing blue-chip technical support to our existing and potential customers on the glass beads applications for pavement marking solutions. This includes testing, training, surveys administration and certification issuing to ensure practical application on the field. Great opportunity for a professional with strong technical background in the pavement marking field, motivated to develop and consolidate his/her professional career within an international environment.Responsibilities: Leads technical service activities with road marking customers.Collects, analyzes and synthesizes customers’ needs for the glass beads applications and liaises with the R&D team to meet technical expectations.Proposes innovative solutions for continuous improvement.Continuously identifies market demands for pavement marking applications.Follows-up country-on-country legislation and trends (homologations, standards, etc), identifying potential impact to our R&D activity. Oversees test trials across the region, according to procedures and protocols in place, meeting expectations and timelines.Supervises samples according to customer requests, fulfilling quality control requirements and product specifications.   Qualifications and experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in the pavement marking field, with proven track record on the pavement marking market in different countries.Directly applicable knowledge on pavement marking systems (water borne and solvent paints, thermoplastics, MMA). Knowledge on either pavement's marking application (airless, low pressure, thermoplastics pumps, equipment calibration) or paint formulation is appreciated. Fluent in English with effective communication skills, encompassing verbal, written and presentation. Professional knowledge of French, German or Spanish is a great plus.Willingness to extensively travel within Europe and to a lesser extent in Africa and the Middle east.Excellent analytical and problem solving capabilities.Ability to work across all functions and levels of the organization.
