As Transport Manager you will be responsible for the management of all mainland Europe site transport operations ensuring proactive, cost efficient, safe, and service focussed operations and customer services.

What You’ll Do.
In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets.
Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day.
Provide day to day operational management and co-ordination of all European store deliveries across 14 countries from 6 Distribution Centres.
Analyse weekly / daily volumes to ensure most cost-effective transport solution is executed.
Ensure haulier compliance (Health and Safety, legal, process and service levels) are actively managed through audit and reporting.
Provide weekly / periodical reporting of KPI’s (e.
.
cost, compliance, load fill, empty running, round trip / single trip, kms, PvA etc.) Develop ‘best in class’ standards to support development of transport operation.

Track record and knowledge of Domestic and European transport operations Proficient in transport planning and scheduling systems Experience of change management and continuous improvement methodology National / European recognised transport qualification Good knowledge of current EU transport legislation.
